- Drink lots of water
- Consume more fibre
- Whole grains only, not white
- Relax on the dairy
- Fill up on vegetables
- Use healthy oils
- Move more than you sit
- Skip the sauces and condiments
- Processed foods suck
- Prepared frozen meals also suck (in most cases)
- Deep fried foods really, really suck
- Learn how to cook
- Make most, if not all your meals at home
- Take a good multivitamin everyday
- Omega 3s are your friend
- Exercise regularly
- Adopt/keep a good attitude
- Don’t use food as a reward
- Eat breakfast every morning
- Try new things
- Eat frequently & never starve yourself
- Know your body and how it responds to certain foods
- Light & healthy snacks before bed only
- Have healthy snacks on hand, always
- Alcohol = excess empty calories
- Even too much of a good thing is still too much
- Work on controlling portion sizes
- Find physical activities you enjoy
